Misery or Offering?

We will always experience sufferings in our life...but it is up to us to feel miserable or treat our sufferings as an offering - Fr Joey Tuazon

Sometimes (or many times) in our life, we experience pain, difficulties, suffering or any other word that you want to put it. It is inevitable because we are human. There will always be circumstances that we sometimes feel that is very hard for us to bear.

When we are put in this situation, we must always check our selves and seek out what the Lord wanted us to know. Why are we suffering? What is the cause of our suffering? What can we learn from this suffering?

After we understand Gods will and wisdom came to us, we will know that sometimes we have to be in that situation so that we can become what the Lord planned us to be.

The description of suffering also depends on the people who are experiencing it. For example.. For a child who is just starting to go to school, studying is suffering. He have to wake up everyday and go to school, make assignments, review for test etc... although the child experience difficulties, he did not feel that his life is miserable because he knows that he is studying and he needs to study that to prepare for his future. Studying is his offering to have a more fruitful life when the day comes.
